	Linus van Pelt, Lucy's little brother, and Charlie Brown's best friend. He finds security in the blanket he carries around with him. It is a habit that disgusts his sister. He tries to help Charlie Brown, if he can, but it usually doesn't work out right. He plays on Charlie Brown's baseball team as an infielder, and occasionally as an outfielder. Every Halloween, he stays up all night in a pumpkin patch, waiting for the 'Great Pumpkin', who, like Santa, delivers toys to all the kids. Unfortunately, every Halloween, he is bitterly disappointed, and usually ends up sick.
